ENG101e provides students with an extensive, guided experience in writing essays. The course emphasizes the writing process; critical reading and thinking skills; and the concepts of audience, purpose, and form. ENG101e also provides an additional credit hour of enhanced grammatical instruction. Attention is devoted to responsible research skills and the basic techniques of MLA documentation.
